Park Rules, Regulations and Facility User Fees

Park Curfew	Park curfew for all parks: 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m. With the exception of the main gate, all park gates will be closed at dark with the main gate closed at midnight. Only authorized persons and overnight campers will be allowed in the park during curfew hours.
Pets	Pets must be on a leash at all times.
Wildlife	All wildlife in City Parks is protected.
Littering	Littering is prohibited. All trash is to be placed in containers provided throughout the park.
Trees and plants	It is prohibited to cut, destroy, or remove vegetation, trees and deadwood without permission from the city.
Vehicles	All vehicles must drive and park in the designated areas only.
Firearms	The use of firearms, air guns, slingshots, bow and arrows, and blowguns is prohibited.
Fishing	Fishing is allowed in designated areas only.
Glass containers	Glass beverage containers are prohibited.
Camping	Camping is allowed in designated areas only. In the RV Park, a camping fee is required.
Tents	Tents are allowed in the camping area only, which includes the RV camp site and primitive camping areas.
Loud music	Loud music, excessive noise and disorderly conduct are not allowed.
Firewood	The gathering of firewood is prohibited.
Ground fires	Ground fires are prohibited except in designated bar-b-que areas and camp sites.
RV Campground	The designated RV camping area is used only for camping (RV sites and primitive camping sites). A camping fee is required for the use of this area. The designated camping area cannot be used as a picnic area.
Picnic area	Tables are provided throughout the park at a first-come basis. No use fee is required.
Group picnic areas (Pavilions)	Reservations are required for the use of group picnic areas. (Lions Club Pavilion, Rotary Club Pavilion, Rotary Club Jr. Pavilion, and the Lions Club Pavilion located in the East Avenue park).

No person may use an area or facility for any purpose other than the designated purpose.
Hike and Bike trail are for pedestrian and bike use only. Motorcycles, vehicles, etc. are prohibited.
Skateboarding, in-line skating, or roller skating is prohibited on the tennis courts. Skateboarding, in-line skating, or roller-skating is permitted on the concreted and paved areas.

User Fee Schedule

Pavilions

$50.00 with $25.00 refunded if cleaned.

Rodeo Arena

$50.00

Show Barn

$50.00 with $20.00 refunded if cleaned. (Fee waived for 4-H and Young Farmers use).

RV Campsites with utilities

$17.00 per night. Maximum 14 day stay permitted.

Primitive camping without utilities

$7.00 per night.

Swimming Pool rental

$1.00 daily fee. Rental fee - 2 hour minimum - $30.00 (during pool season) $20.00 each hour after the first two hours. (No reservation after dark. There must be two lifeguards available at the time of the reservation).

Volleyball courts

Use by reservation. $50.00 per court with $25.00 refund if cleaned. If no reservations are in force, volleyball courts can be used on a first-come basis. Lights are on a pay timer. Volleyball league fee is $3.00 per person.

Soccer fields

Use by reservation. $50.00 per field with $25.00 refund if cleaned. If no reservations are in force, soccer fields can be used on a first-come basis. Lights are on a pay timer. Soccer league fee is $3.00 per person.

Tennis courts

No reservation is required. Lights are on a pay timer.

Basketball courts

No reservation is required. Lights are on a pay timer.

Quadraplex

Use by reservation. $50.00 per field per day with $25.00 refunded if cleaned. If lights are needed an additional $15.00 fee will be required. Softball league fee is $50.00 per team. If the quadraplex fields are not reserved, then the fields are available on a first-come basis. Lights are on a pay timer.

Little League fields

For Little League use only.

Museum Amphitheater

Use by reservation only. ($50.00 with $25.00 refund if cleaned).

J B Wells Park Fees

Arena:

$150.00 Security Deposit Rental Rate - $250.00 per day

Weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Holidays)
$150.00 Security Deposit Rental Rate - $350.00 per day

Additional Arena Charges:

Panels:	$ 1.00 per panel - does not include set-up

Stalls:	$12.00 per day
RV Hook-ups:	$17.00 per day

Large Pavilion:
$100.00 Security Deposit $200.00 per day, 6 am to 6 am

Multipurpose Show Barn:
$150.00 Security Deposit Rental Rate - $250.00 per day

Reservations	Reservations are taken for the current year and can only be made for one year in advance. All reservations are made at City Hall, with payment due within ten days from the date the reservation is made. If the reservation date is less than ten days, payment must be made at the same time the reservation is made. Reservations no paid after the ten days will be cancelled.
Waived Fee Policy	Fees will not be waived except by special agreements or contract of extended use. Fees can only be waived by the City Manager or his designated representative.

Refund Policies

Refunds are issued by check from the City of Gonzales. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing.
Cancellations received more than 48 hours prior to reservation will receive the full refund. Less than 48 hours will receive only the refundable clean up fee.
No refund will be issued due to a no-show.
Swimming Pool reservations will receive a full refund if cancellation is due to bad weather.
RV reservations will receive a refund if cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to the reservation. RV reservations will also receive a refund for the unused days if requested before 10:00 a.m. the day of departure.
Quadraplex reservations will receive a refund if cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to the reservation. Less than 48 hours will receive only the refundable clean up fee.
