The Wastewater Department is responsible for 41 miles of sanitary sewers, providing safe, uninterrupted wastewater services to all citizens within the City limits.

The City operates one treatment plant located south of town. The plant treats domestic and industrial wastewater according to statutory regulations. A primary goal is to provide for the environmentally safe disposal of wastewater material.

The Wastewater Department is at the wastewater treatment plant at the end of Remschel Street.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
